Why do I write ..
Sometimes I write to share the thoughts I hide, the hidden feelings of another I lock away, an untold story that remains unpublished, dreams that I wish become true one day. There’s much to say, there’s much to write, who listens, who reads your daily plights.
Why is it easier to write than share? Sometimes I wonder, is it because paper has more patience than people ..
Thank you for sharing.

Beautifully said! I like writing in journals (diaries) since I can look back many years later and get a sense of how life happened and changed how I thought and felt. Now following your blog…I like what you have to say and want to read more. 🙂

Aaww Thank you Susan, me too I love journals, the only downside it sometimes fear is if someone was to read it, on the other hand, blogging is an amazing way to become creative and share without being explicit.
Aaww very kind of you and I’m glad you do, feel free to read and stay, your comments are greatly appreciated and I thank you from the bottom of my heart Susan for making my day.

You’re welcome 🙂 You could lock your journals in a safe…that is one option I suppose. I do like blogging without sharing anything specific and identifying. Thank you for being so welcoming and I am pleased that you are happy upon reading my comments. 🙂

Yes that’s true. However blogging is a place like you said you can share without being direct or specific.
It’s my pleasure indeed Susan, you are most welcome anytime.
Always a pleasure. Thank you for your kind and sweet words.

Paper sure does have more patience than people, as Annie Frank said.
Reason why I’m so protective of my diary…
That’s a very good piece of writing.

Thank you. Really?
I wasn’t aware that she had said it. But it’s always felt that way, finding more patience with paper than people.

Paper definitely has more patience – Well said! I often feel that there is a better connection between my thoughts and fingers because I can never speak as cohesively or comprehensively. Speech goes horribly wrong at least mine does.

Yes definitely I agree, yes I try to convey how I feel many a times but fail miserably.
Thank you for visiting.

…. and I do believe that putting it in writing, helps to solidify it.
It is there.
It is written.
Where as, spoken words can go ‘adrift’.

I agree Ren, writing is very soothing too, it helps, it really does. Writing can remain secret whereas spoken words to another can travel to many ears.
Thank you Ren for stopping by, it was a pleasure to read your thoughts.

Beautiful lines “Why is it easier to write than share? Sometimes I wonder, is it because paper has more patience than people ..” … I think its easier because paper never questions us or judges us!!!
